Journey to Mikumi National Park & Game Drive

Your journey begins in the morning, either with a flight from Zanzibar, a scenic drive from Dar es Salaam, or a ride on the SGR train. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your guide and proceed into Mikumi National Park for your first game drive. As you traverse the open plains, you’ll encounter wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness and continue exploring the park’s varied habitats, including its floodplains and miombo woodlands. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at your selected accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Mikumi National Park & Return

After an early breakfast, head out for another exciting game drive to explore areas you may have missed on the first day. In the late afternoon, begin your return journey back to Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, or your starting point, bringing your safari adventure to a close.
