Can I Rent Even If I Am Not Using Your Company ?

Yes, You can rent anything from us even if you are not using our services. All you have to do is to get intouch with us early with your wishlist via bantupori@gmail.com or gears@bantuporijourneys.com. Then we will email the invoice with all the rental price and reflected below. You ONLY pay after you have inspected all the rentals yourself and feel satisfied with the gear.

Our Rental Terms and Conditions

  • Availability: All rentals are subject to demand. To avoid disappointment, book your gear well in advance.
  • Payment: Payment for rental equipment must be made in cash (USD) upon collection. Credit cards and traveler’s checks are not accepted.
  • Duration: Rental fees are charged per trip, not per day.
  • Care of Equipment: Clients are prohibited from washing rental equipment. Excess dirt can be brushed off or wiped down.
  • Delivery Services: We offer delivery to your hotel, with additional costs depending on distance and location. Some deliveries may be free for nearby hotels.

Gear Delivery Services

To make your trip even more convenient, we provide delivery services for all rented gear directly to your hotel. The delivery fee depends on the location:


  • Nearby hotels: No extra charge.
  • Hotels further away: A small delivery fee applies, based on distance.

A. You can absolutely pickup rental gear from our store location. We don’t require advance reservations for store pickup, but we always encourage them.
A. Our rental rate assumes a limited amount of wear, which may occur with a rental use. However, rips, tears, or missing parts noted upon return, will result in additional charges for repair or replacement. Minimum $50. This is solely the discretion of BPJ.
A. Absolutely, but depends on gear availability. Same Day and Walk In rentals are always welcome.
A: Yes, we provide clothing and gear in sizes suitable for children, including sleeping bags, boots, and jackets.
A: Yes, we collaborate with trusted partners in Arusha to provide seamless rental services. This allows for gear pickup or delivery in both Moshi and Arusha.
