Fly - Arrival & Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Your journey begins with a scenic flight or drive to Nyerere National Park, one of the largest protected areas in Africa. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, and the rare African wild dogs that call this park home. After your safari, settle into your accommodation, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a night surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the wilderness.

Full-Day Safari in Nyerere National Park

Spend the day exploring Nyerere’s diverse landscapes on game drives and a memorable boat safari along the Rufiji River. Witness hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife while gliding through the park's waterways. Learn about the intricate ecosystems and experience up-close encounters with the wildlife. Return to your lodge or tented camp for another relaxing evening.

Transfer to Mikumi National Park & Afternoon Game Drive

Start the day with morning walking safari. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get close to nature and learn more about the smaller species and the bush itself. It’s an unforgettable experience to walk and tramp within such a vast and untamed area. The walks take about 2-3 hours long. Usually, the walks leave the camp at 6:00 am -6:30 am after having a cup of tea and some homemade biscuits or doughnut. After the walking safari you`ll return back to your lodge shower and have your breakfast. After breakfast, take a short flight or drive to Mikumi National Park. Known as the "Little Serengeti," Mikumi’s open plains are home to a rich variety of wildlife, including buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and lions. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Experience the park’s iconic baobabs and diverse habitats as you search for its famous residents. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation near Mikumi.
